Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) is the exchange controller under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO). It owns and operates the only stock exchange and a futures exchange in Hong Kong and their related clearing houses, namely Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited (HKSCC), HKFE Clearing Corporation Limited (HKCC), The SEHK Options Clearing House Limited (SEOCH) and OTC Clearing Hong Kong Limited. The Company operates in five business segments. The Cash segment covers all equity products traded on the Cash Market platforms. The Equity and Financial Derivatives segment refers to derivatives products traded on Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited and the Stock Exchange. The Commodities segment refers to the operations of LME. The Clearing segment refers to the operations of the four clearing houses. The Platform and Infrastructure segment refers to all services in connection with providing users with access to the platform and infrastructure of the Company.
