Greencoat UK Wind PLC is a renewable infrastructure fund, solely and fully invested in the operating United Kingdom wind farms. The Company's investment objective is to provide investors with an annual dividend that increases in line with retail price index (RPI) inflation while preserving the capital value of its investment portfolio in the long term on a real basis through reinvestment of excess cash flow and the prudent use of portfolio leverage. The Company invests in unlevered operating United Kingdom wind farms predominantly with a capacity of over 10 megawatts, which sells the power produced and associated green benefits to the United Kingdom off takers. The Company invests in both onshore and offshore wind farms with the amount invested in offshore wind farms being capped at approximately 40% of gross annual value (GAV) at acquisition. Greencoat Capital LLP is the investment manager of the Company.
