In early trading on Thursday, shares of Walgreens Boots Alliance topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 3.1%. Year to date, Walgreens Boots Alliance has lost about 17.0% of its value.

And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Old Dominion Freight Line, trading down 50.0%. Old Dominion Freight Line is lower by about 47.2% looking at the year to date performance.

Two other components making moves today are Tesla, trading down 1.7%, and Analog Devices, trading up 1.6% on the day.
