Anglo American plc focuses its business on its portfolio of diamonds, platinum group metals and copper. It owns interests in De Beers, which is a diamond company and its diamond operations are located in approximately four countries, such as Botswana, Canada, Namibia and South Africa. It has interests in approximately two copper operations, which include the Los Bronces mine, which the Company manages and operates, and the Collahuasi mine. Its phosphates business is located in Goiss state. The Company's coal portfolio has metallurgical coal assets in Australia, and thermal coal assets in South Africa, Colombia and Australia.
