Its production facilities are located in Hainan Province, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Hubei Province. As of December 31, 2011, its subsidiaries included CNOOC Fudao Limited, Hainan CNOOC Plastic Co., Ltd., Hainan CNOOC Complex Fertiliser Co., Ltd. and others.
