In trading on Tuesday, metals & mining shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.6%. Helping drag down the group were shares of U S GoldMining, down about 6.9% and shares of Santacruz Silver Mining down about 4.5% on the day.
Also lagging the market Tuesday are defense shares, down on the day by about 1.2% as a group, led down by Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, trading lower by about 3% and Huntington Ingalls Industries, trading lower by about 2.4%.
